Handjob

posted by admin in Uncategorized 0 comments

A handjob, hand job, tugjob or tug job is a slang term referring to the sexual stimulation of a penis using the hands and fingers.

It is a form of outercourse or non-penetrative sex and, not involving the exchange of bodily fluids, is a type of safer sex.

The manual stimulation of a female’s sex organs is usually called fingering, although sometimes “handjob” is used to refer to this act as well.

Contents

Overview

A common handjob technique - First, the giving partner grips the receiving partner’s penis with their entire hand similar to making a fist (except the fist is made around the penis). An alternative grip is to use only a couple fingers wrapped around the penis. Second, the giving partner moves their hand in an up and down motion, which causes stimulation to the shaft and glans (head) of the penis. Some people prefer to use lubrication to prevent friction on the penis. There are many other techniques that can be used, and some involve the use of both hands. Because each individual male is different, it generally takes patience and practice on behalf of both partners before the most pleasurable hand technique is discovered.

Handjobs may or may not end in ejaculation or orgasm; they may or may not constitute the entire sexual encounter. They may be part of foreplay or part of or a precursor to other sexual activities. They can provide sexual pleasure to a partner when penetrative intercourse is not possible or desirable.

Little physical effort is required for a handjob, and the male is not distracted by the effort of thrusting or the need to stimulate his partner’s sexual organs. A handjob can incorporate a large amount of stimulation and variety and, as with other forms of sexual stimulation, the giving partner can receive significant pleasure and sexual arousal from the act of providing pleasure to their partner, with only the hand. Performing a handjob can be exciting for the giver as well because they can directly control and observe the sexual excitement and physical reactions of their partner.

Prevalence in massage parlours

According to a 1975 study by A.J. Velarde, in an unnamed west-coast city in the United States, provision of a “hand job”, where the woman masturbated the client, was one of the services female masseuses were employed to give. Subsequent newspaper publicity of this practice caused local councils to impose licensing requirements upon masseuses similar to the ones used on prostitutes. This licensing led to increased expectations in massage parlour clients, who expected that more than a hand job would be available, that is, sexual intercourse. Because the masseuses themselves considered that they had nothing to lose in acting as prostitutes, and because the local council treated them as prostitutes, anyway, masseuses often complied, and thus attracted more prostitution to the city.

Nomenclature

The term “handjob” is often considered a slang or informal word rather than a clinical term. Therefore, some people take offense to the word when used in general conversation. An academic article would usually refer to a handjob as manual stimulation of a male partner, masturbating a male partner, or manual sex to a penis.

Manual stimulation of the penis by another individual may also informally be called:

  • H.J. – An abbreviated form of “Hand Job”.
  • Happy ending – If it follows a full-body massage usually performed at a massage parlor. [1]
  • Complimentary local is another euphemistic term used by massage parlor staff to indicate to clients that erotic release is included in the services provided, eg. “Yes sir, the half-hour massage includes a complimentary local.”
  • Reach-around – When during an act of anal sex, the stimulating partner reaches around and gives the receiving partner a handjob. [2]
  • Rusty trombone – When giving anilingus and a handjob at the same time, mimicking the motions of a trombone player.
  • Over the pants Handjob - More commonly known as the OTPHJ, this less intimate version of the handjob allows a woman to give a man a handjob without going through the fuss of taking his pants and underwear off. It is also more convenient in situations where nudity would be inappropriate. The obvious downside of the OTPHJ is the unsightly wet mark in the crotch area, and the uncomfortable sticky feeling in the man’s pants.
  • Fist-fighting with the Minister - When performing a hand job, a stimulator will hit the recipients scrotum for added stimulation.

Non-voting stock is stock that provides the shareholder very little or no vote on corporate matters, such as election of the board of directors or mergers. This type of share is usually implemented for individuals who want to invest in the company’s profitability and success at the expense of voting rights in the direction of the company. Preferred stock typically has nonvoting qualities.

Not all corporations offer voting stock and non-voting stock, nor do all stocks usually have equal voting power. Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway corporation has two classes of stocks, Class A (Voting stocks -Ticker symbol: BRKA) and Class B (Non-voting stocks - Ticker symbol: BRKB). The Class B stocks carry 1/200th of the voting rights of the Class A, but at approximately 1/30th of the price.

Takeover

Non-voting stock may also thwart hostile takeover attempts. If the founders of a company maintain all of the voting stock and sell non-voting stock only to the public, takeover attempts are unlikely. They may occur only if the founders are willing to tender an offer by an unfriendly bidder.

There are consequences to not releasing voting rights to common shareholders; these include fewer supplicants for a friendly takeover, displeased shareholders as a result of the corporation’s limited growth potential, and difficulty finding bidders for additional non-voting shares in the market.

The Power Holding Company of Nigeria (abbreviated PHC or PHCN), formerly the National Electric Power Authority (abbreviated NEPA) is an organisation governing the use of electricity in Nigeria.

Contents

History

In the early 1960s the Niger Dam Authorities (NDA) and Electricity Cooperation amalgamated to form the Electricity Cooperation of Nigeria (ECN). Then, immediately after the Nigerian civil war the management of ECN changed its nomenclature to NEPA. What is currently called the Power Holding Company of Nigeria was formally known as National Electric Power Authority.

Local distribution companies

The government has divided the current PHCN distribution sector into separate companies or entities that will be called Local Electric Distribution Companies or Local Distribution Companies (LDC) among the regions.

Payment of bills

The sample consists of the procedures enrolled in payment of bills by way of banks. The Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN, has made settling customers monthly electricity bills easier, hence the introduction of the bank revenue collection system to complement the operations of the cash offices in PHCN premises. This program is to facilitate prompt and regular settlement of the PHCN’s monthly bills, as customers are no longer expected to travel far outside their immediate neighborhoods to settle PHCN Bills. This article is about Turbo-Basic XL, a BASIC dialect for the Atari 8-bit family. There is a different article on the unrelated  Borland Turbo BASIC.

Turbo-Basic XL is an advanced version of BASIC for the Atari 8-bit family of home computers. It is a compatible superset of the more common ATARI BASIC whose most important feature is the vastly improved execution speed. A Turbo-Basic XL compiler was also made available that created binary executables (for further speeding up program performance).

Among the extra features of Turbo-Basic XL, added to ATARI BASIC, are the following:

  • enhanced sound and graphics commands
  • more flexible I/O commands, including disk access
  • structured programming constructs
  • simple debugging facilities

Turbo-Basic XL was developed by Frank Ostrowski and published in the December 1985 issue of German computer magazine Happy Computer.

The Nathaniel Bowditch House (circa 1805), sometimes called by Bowditch-Osgood House, is a historic house located at 9 North Street, Salem, Massachusetts. It was once the home of Nathaniel Bowditch, the founder of modern navigation, and is now a National Historic Landmark and listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It currently serves as the home of Historic Salem, Inc.

The Bowditch House is significant both architecturally and historically. It is a three-story, low-hipped, clapboarded house in the Federal style, with a recessed front doorway (added circa 1825) and a recently restored roof balustrade, originally built for the Corwin family, famous for their part in the Salem Witch Trials. It was owned by Bowditch from 1811 to 1823. Subsequent owners included the Massachusetts General Hospital and Joseph B. F. Osgood, a Salem lawyer, judge, and mayor.

The house was originally located at 312 Essex Street, but in 1944 was moved to its current site and restored (along with the adjacent Corwin “Witch House”) when street widening threatened the house.

In Riemannian geometry and relativity theory, an orthonormal frame is a tool for studying the structure of a differentiable manifold equipped with a metric. If M is a manifold equipped with a metric g, then an orthonormal frame at a point P of M is an ordered basis of the tangent space at P consisting of vectors which are orthonormal with respect to the bilinear form gP.

Play (BDSM)

posted by admin in Uncategorized 0 comments

Play” is the term given to taking part in a BDSM scene. It is a deliberate use of the word’s ambiguous meaning - suggesting both a Play in the literary sense (taking in the roleplay aspect) and Play in the child-like sense (taking in the experimentation, gleefullness and wonder aspects). Often in BDSM clubs, “Shall we play?” is the equivalent to the vanilla “Shall we dance?”.

Play can take many forms, from a light session where two people get to know each others likes and dislikes to a heavy or lengthy scene between two or more committed “players” who know each others limits and are willing to push or be pushed at their boundaries.

Many people engange in promiscuous play to learn about themselves until they have found the role they are comfortable in. Many BDSM couples also engage in play with either a third person or separately with another partner. It is almost always the case that these play encounters are of a non-sexual nature.

A sexual minority is a group whose sexual identity, orientation or practices differ from the majority of the surrounding society. The term was coined (most likely in the late 1960s or early 1970s) by analogy to ethnic minority.

Initially the term referred primarily to Lesbians and Gays. It has come to include Bisexuals and transgender people. These four categories (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) are often grouped together under the rubric LGBT.

Others referred to as “sexual minorities” include fetishists and practitioners of Bondage & Discipline, Domination & Submission, and/or Sadomasochism (collectively referred to as BDSM). The term may also include asexuals and people who may be strictly heterosexual and whose choice of actual sex acts may be vanilla, but whose choice of partner or partners is unusual, such as swingers, polyamorists or people in other nonmonogamous relationships, or people who strongly prefer sex partners of a disparate age.

Usually, the term sexual minority is applied only to groups who practice consensual sex: for example, it would be unusual to refer to rapists as a sexual minority, but the term would generally include someone whose sexuality gave a major, fetishized role to consensual playing out of a rape fantasy. Also, someone who very occasionally incorporates of kink or same-sex activity into a largely vanilla, heterosexual sex life would not usually be described as a sexual minority.

Controversy

Some LGBT people object to using the term “sexual minorities” in relation to them, and prefer the term LGBT. Reasons for these objections may vary. For example, some LGBT people feel that the term “sexual minorities” needlessly reminds them about discrimination and about being a minority. They don’t want to be a distinct “minority”, but an integral and respectable part of the society. Some other LGBT people dislike the term “sexual minority” for being too inclusive, including swingers, polyamorists, BDSM people and other perceived “sexual strangers”. These LGBT people want to make a larger distance between these sexual practices and bisexuality/homosexuality/transgender.

Some transsexual or transgender people dislike the term “sexual minority” for yet another reason. They argue that the phenomenon of transsexuality or transgender has nothing to do with sex, sexual practices or sexual orientation, but relates to the gender, gender dysphoria and gender-variant behavior or feelings. So they feel it is incorrect to classify them as “sexual minority”, when, in fact, they are gender-variant minority.

Some conservative groups oppose the use of the term “sexual minority” for completely different reason. They think or feel that the term “sexual minority” inherently implies some degree of legalisation or protection for those engaged in such sexual practices, much like ethnic minorities are protected from being discriminated or persecuted in modern democratic countries. These groups prefer to call people, who belong to sexual minorities, deviant or pervert.

Bend-Or spots (or Ben d’Or, Smuts, or Grease Spots) are a type of spotted marking found on horses. They are fairly rare and range in color from slightly darker than the horse’s coat, to an almost-black shade. The random spots are most commonly seen on palominos, chestnuts, and darker horses, and may not appear until the horse is several years old. It is still unknown was causes these spots.

The spots were named after the Thoroughbred stallion Bend Or, who had such spots on his chestnut coat.

Subtitled For the enjoyment of humorous people and for the annoyance of others, Ernő Dohnányi’s Variations on a Nursery Tune, Op. 25 is probably his best-known work. Written in 1914 for piano and orchestra, it captures the spirit of Romanticism, and manages to delight and enthral in its sparkling piano writing and lush orchestral textures, and its wit in the treatment of the theme – the French nursery song Ah, vous dirai-je, Maman, otherwise known as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

The Variations on a Nursery Tune consists of an Introduction and Theme, 13 Variations and a Coda. The Introduction is firmly Wagnerian in its writing, dripping with faux pathos, brasses blaring and strings thick and dense; too Wagnerian to be true. The outline of the theme appears indistinctly but unmistakably in the horns, a hint of what is to come. After a long drawn-out codetta which grows ever quieter while continually building the tension, we have a belch from the orchestra and a pregnant pause, followed by a quiet restatement of the theme on the piano accompanied by pizzicato strings.

What follows is a delightfully witty, artful set of variations ranging from the innocent first variation to the romantic third variation, the scurrying 6th variation, the boisterous, overcooked waltz in the 7th variation and the pathos-laden 10th variation which alludes to the Wagnerian opening. Fascinatingly, Dohnányi treats the piano and orchestra as equals – every instrument is given its chance to shine. Perhaps what makes this work so enduring is Dohnányi’s skill in transforming his theme into totally different creatures for so many variations.

The piece is particularly rewarding for the knowledgeable music lover, too. Dohnányi alludes to many different works, or composers, in this gem of a piece. For instance, variation 8 suggests the march from the second movement of Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 2. Debussy is alluded to, with the ethereal harmonies of the 11th variation. Dohnányi ruthlessly pokes fun at nearly every composer his audience of 1914 would have been familiar with.

Percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS) is one of the least invasive forms of neurostimulation, currently used for a variety of urologic conditions including interstitial cystitis, urge incontinence and overactive bladder (OAB).

Contents

Procedure

The treatment is simple. A fine needle is inserted into the skin just above the ankles (at the SP6 acupuncture point) to access the post tibial nerve. A small electrode is then placed on the needle from the TENS unit. A mild electrical current is passed through into the nervous system. If the big toe bends downwards with stimulation, the needle’s placement is ideal. Patients may also notice a stretching outward of their outer toes. PTNS stimulation should never cause pain. If the stimulation is too strong, nerve damage may occur. The protocol requires once-a-week treatments for ten weeks, roughly 30 minutes per session.

Research and development

The methodology was first invented by Dr. Marshall Stoller at UCSF Medical Center, San Francisco, and was first known as the SANS protocol. Dr. Stoller’s goal was to create an alternative to the more invasive sacral neuromodulation devices. Thus, rather than requiring an incision and placement of electrodes in the sacrum, PTNS utilizes the nerve root (S3) but at a location much closer to the surface of the skin, slightly above the ankle.

In 2000, Dr. Stoller reported that 100 patients were treated with the SANS device with an approximate 80% success rate in treating urge incontinence syndrome, including urgency and frequency. In a corroborative study, 71% of patients achieved success.Dr. Marshall Stoller’s Guest Lecture On IC Network

The SANS/PTNS protocol has faced challenges in the industrial sector. The first company to attempt to market Dr. Stoller’s device was called Urosurge, based in the USA. After conducting an international product launch in London, the company went out of business. Both UCSF & Dr. Stoller then attempted to find another company to carry on their work, to no avail. Another company, Cystomedix, developed a similar device. In Dec. 2004, Uroplasty acquired Cystomedix.Uroplasty Press Release Announcing Cystomedix Acquisition Uroplasty currently offers the only PTNS device available today, which they call Urgent PC.

Potential

When compared to the extremely high cost of sacral neuromodulation devices, PTNS represents a far more affordable and less invasive alternative for patients who are considering a nerve stimulation device. Prices differ dramatically in various countries. In the UK, the cost is approximately £600. In the USA, the cost was a few thousand dollars. This protocol is slowly gaining exposure in various urologic clinics but faces stiff competition from the older and more established SNS devices, such as Medtronic’s Interstim.
